Terms of Use

Last updated: 4/20/2026 · TrialReferrals / BioAlma

1. Acceptance

By using TrialReferrals you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Nature of the Service

TrialReferrals is an independent clinical trial search and referral facilitation platform. We are not a healthcare provider, clinical research organization (CRO), or pharmaceutical company. Information provided is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.

3. Not Medical Advice

Nothing on this platform should be construed as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about clinical trial participation.

4. Editorial Independence

TrialReferrals content is editorially independent. No sponsor, pharmaceutical company, or CRO influences which trials are listed, how they are described, or their ranking. Pharma companies may pay for anonymised patient database access only — this does not affect editorial content.

5. Patient Data & Referrals

By registering or submitting a referral, you consent to us storing your contact information and medical condition details for the purpose of trial matching. Patient data is never sold or shared with sponsors. Individual data is shared with research centres only to facilitate a specific referral, with your explicit consent.

6. Physician Responsibilities

Physicians using the referral function confirm that they have obtained appropriate consent from their patients to share information with TrialReferrals for trial matching purposes, in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.

7. Accuracy of Information

Trial information is sourced from ClinicalTrials.gov and updated regularly. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee completeness or currency. Always verify trial status directly with the research centre before referral.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software on this platform is owned by BioAlma (DMBranco, Inc.) or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioAlma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Miami, FL, except where prohibited by local law.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Registered users will be notified by email of material changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Contact
